“Atlantis-Pak” Company Can Get Federal Support

Last Saturday Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Arkady Dvorkovich visited the production site of “Atlantis-Pak” Company (in the structure of “Agrocom Group”).

In the frameworks of the visit Deputy Prime Minister visited production site of the enterprise and studied the project of production of high-barrier packaging film- this is an innovative product, which is not produced by Russian enterprises. Expected investment volume– 3 billion ROUBLES. As far as this project is aimed at import substitution, question of federal support is now under consideration. “We will think over the most appropriate instrument for this case- whether it should be project financing, Fund for the Development of Industry or mechanism of “Vnesheconombank”. This question will be discussed as soon as possible.”-resumed Arkady Dvorkovich.

Deputy Prime Minister also said that the process of import substitution in industrial sphere is slower than in agricultural industry, because of high crediting rates and budget restrictions. Today the situation stabilizes, rates become lower. Besides Fund for the Development of Industry started its work, so it can offer favorable terms of co-funding projects, which are aimed at development of high-tech production, technical re-equipping and establishment of competitive industries. According to Arcady Dvorcovich, there are several projects which already have had federal support, and more than 300 are under consideration. Fund’s limit of financing is 20 billion ROUBLES this year.
