Relevant decision was made during the latest meeting of the National Meat-Processing Union members on 19th of June in Moscow.

“Decision about entrance into the Union stems from the necessity of incorporation of Russian meat-processors into the alliance which can stick up for interests of branch, put forward proposals and initiatives to be legislated, - said Alexander Remeta, director of Group of Companies “Tavr”. - The Union is an excellent platform for opinion exchange in the sphere of professional interests: work with retail chain stores, supplies and processing activities.”

Questions of price increase for raw materials, some results of work of meat-processing plants for January through May of this year were discussed during the meeting.

“National Meat-Processing Union” was established as non-commercial partnership in 2011. The main objectives of the Union are forming of positive public opinion and reputation of meat-manufacturers, interaction with legislative and executive branches of state government, arrangement of conditions which prevent entry of fake products, assistance in training of specialists.
